Alpine builds fields, workflows, roles and automations on its own. When you need a genuine integration, a bespoke calculation, or an app of your own, our engineers write it, as a proper app, versioned and upgrade-safe, not as patches to core.
The work
Most configuration questions do not need a developer. That is the point of Alpine and of the Frappe Framework underneath: fields, workflows and permissions are data, not code. Development is for the remaining cases: a carrier API the platform has never heard of, a landed-cost formula your industry insists on, a barcode workflow for a warehouse that has been doing it one way since 2009.
The rule our engineers work by is that everything ships as a proper app: versioned, documented, installed on top of AlpineERP, never as edits to core. The Frappe Framework is designed for exactly this, which is why your upgrades stay safe and why the app we write for you remains yours, exportable and comprehensible to any Frappe developer who comes after us.

Custom DocTypes, screens and logic packaged as installable apps with their own version history. They survive upgrades because they never touched core in the first place.
Connections to carriers, marketplaces, banks, payment providers and whatever legacy system the business cannot yet retire, with retries, error queues and monitoring, not fire-and-forget webhooks.
Bespoke reports and dashboards built on the same data the close runs on, so operations and finance stop arguing about whose number is right.
Print formats and templates for invoices, delivery notes and statements that match your stationery and your jurisdiction's requirements, HTML/CSS, versioned with everything else.

One published rate, billed by the hour. The estimator sizes the work rather than quoting a price for it: each answer moves the effort, and anything genuinely unusual is scoped rather than guessed.

An estimate of effort, not a fixed price. You are invoiced for the hours actually worked, and we tell you before the estimate moves. A rolling retainer buys a block of hours each month instead.

Questions
Alpine handles fields, workflows, roles, permissions and automations: configuration, generated and reviewable. Development is for behaviour that lives outside that model: external APIs, bespoke algorithms, and screens with interaction AlpineERP cannot express. If a prompt can build it, you should not be paying an engineer for it.
Not the way we build it. Apps install alongside AlpineERP and declare their dependencies; upgrades run against staging with your apps installed first, which is the whole reason we refuse to patch core. This is standard practice on the Frappe Framework.
You do. Source is delivered in your repository, documented, under your licence. If you part ways with us, any Frappe developer can pick it up. That is deliberate, and it is what being upgrade-safe and exit-safe actually means.
Yes. AlpineERP exposes a versioned REST API over every DocType and accepts webhooks natively, so it can run as the system of record beside systems that earn their keep, or as the new core while the old ones wind down.
